Stone Façade Fabrication Documentation
Victory Park Housing Complex
Moscow, Russia — Ul. Bratiev Fonchenko
For the housing complex designed by Sergey Skuratov Architects facing Moscow's Victory Park (Park Pobedy), I prepared the stone fabrication and assembly documentation for the façade works. A total of 7,436 technical drawings — covering cutting dimensions, profile details and assembly diagrams for the horizontal and vertical stone panels of all five residential towers — were generated with parametric algorithms I developed in Rhino Grasshopper.
Façade Model
- 3D Rhino model
- 5 tower façades
Parametric Algorithm
- Grasshopper definition
- Panel parameters
Panel Sizing
- Cutting dimensions
- Profile & position codes
Technical Drawings
- 7,436 drawings
- AutoCAD output
Production & Assembly
- Fabrication diagrams
- On-site installation
The Parametric Approach
The parametric system automatically generated the unique dimensions, edge profiles and position codes of every stone panel, minimizing production errors. Façade rhythms and window layouts that vary from block to block were managed through a single algorithmic infrastructure.
This approach dramatically shortened a process that would have taken months with conventional drafting, and delivered high precision in both production and assembly.

Façade material and profile detail drawings
Conventional Method
Manual Drafting
- A separate drawing for every panel
- High risk of errors
- Long revision cycles
- A drafting process lasting months
Parametric Method
Grasshopper Algorithm
- Automatic panel sizing
- Error-free matching via position codes
- Instant revisions and updates
- A dramatically shortened process

Fabrication Drawings
The fabrication drawing produced for each stone panel contains its cutting dimensions, edge profiles, assembly orientation and position code. The Grasshopper algorithm pulls this data automatically from the façade model and places it into a standard drawing template.
